OMPA EATS*:
OMPA EATS is in some ways the heart of the OMPA initiative. OMPA is founded in part in rememberance of Tanja's German heritage, and the many memories in the kitchen with Oma or Grandma that many of us have. OMPA EATS aims to bring that same warm, safe, stuff your face and try new things energy into it's multiple roles with the OMPA initiative.
The largest part of this branch of the initiative is our OMPAS food truck, OMPAS's Garden. With a simple menu loaded full of family recipes as well as allergen friendly options, our food truck sources its ingredients in large part through the small gardens and farms in the OMPA OUTDOORS program.
Having our food truck on site at OMPA OUTDOORS locations allows us to meet fresh water access guidelines so that we can host events on the sites thru OMPA EVENTS.

The Mother of our Founder, Oma G is where a lot of our recipes are being translated from. Her recipe box has generations worth of family recipes from the old country sitting just waiting to be discovered. If you get a chance to try her cheesecake, we highly recommend it. Like...we ate 3 in 2 days once...it's that good.
OMPA's Garden
Welcome to our food truck version of a bier garten!
Family recipes make up the menu, where potatoes reign supreme and we offer many allergen friendly options. Foods free of allergens are always prepared in a separate kitchen space and sealed in their package before being brought onto the truck to ensure no cross contamination within the food.
